Weave
True community portability. Trust that travels.
Weave is accelerating the interoperability of the internet's missing trust layer. Helping programmers implement protocols that plug and play.
Fragments and Threads
Your data, your relationships, and your communities are locked inside systems you don't control.
Distorted portraits filtered through the lens of fear, and opportunism. A picture built of past purchases, and throwaway comments.
Used to manipulate, to market, to control. It's your data, yet you have no say. Trapped by your own relationships, you cannot walk away.

Our Communities are Constrained, Contained, and Contaminated.
Our systems shape and limit our community capabilities.
Our groups aren't working. Conversations go stale and stagnant, core information is lost in noise, and is insecure or unusable. Boundaries are hard to enforce, allowing spammers, trolls and memetic drift and contamination to infect and destroy a space.
Anti-social media.

With Weave, we will be free.
To remain free we must always be free to leave and to choose our tools. To leave platforms but retain community. To extract ourselves from customer capture, and siloed systems. To act together, to organise across ecosystems - both real and virtual, and to catalyse our collective potential, enabled by a common technological substrate.
To keep our connections, our relationships, our accumulated knowledge.
This keeps the platforms from capture and enshittification.

Your data should be an aligned reflection of you.
Your digital identity should be a reflection of you, of your relationships, capabilities, capacities and connections.
A magic mirror that helps you maximise your potential and grows and nourishes your community.

Catalysing Communities and extending Capabilities
What if we moved beyond platforms and siloed systems? If we could plug and play our communities and groups with different tools and capabilities.
That consensual communication ensured we could remain informed without overwhelm.
That we could easily gather around the tools that suited our collective needs, that allowed us agency and increased our ability to shape, organise and transform our collective reality.
This is the world we wish to weave, and the web we need to enable it.

Trust that Travels
Your relationships are an extension of you. When they can be vouched for, a stranger two steps away stops being a stranger - transferable trust, visible values, networks that nurture.
Trust reaches past the small circle any of us can keep in our heads, out to the scale of a whole community.

Portable P2P Proven Profiles
Your work doesn't belong in a festival. Your kink doesn't belong in the boardroom.
You're not the same person at work, at home, and among the people you make things with. Weave lets you carry a different persona into each room - each provably you, none of them exposing the others. And the proof comes with you: a licence, a role, where you live - checked in a blink, no inbox full of six-digit codes.

Why Weave?
The Internet could have enabled communities to coordinate for shared abundance: wealth flowing where it's needed, communal supply chains, disaster relief, mutual aid and care.
Private platforms captured that vision. They sold us convenience and took our data. We became the product.
The solution is protocols, not platforms. Protocols are the layer that lets us connect, prevent capture, build systems that plug and play, keep private what should be private, and share what we need to organise.
Never before have so many people been able to reach each other across the globe, near-instantly. Yet rarely without surrendering sensitive data, which puts us at risk.
When source, signal and service can't be trusted, our collective nervous system can't sense or respond.
Weave is here to fix that.

Weaving the Web We Want
Good people have already spun the threads. Weave brings their work together, so they can interoperate and weave a blanket of belonging.
It is not new tech and not a blockchain - it is the loom that turns a hundred loose threads into one cloth.

Catalysing Connections
Weave provides three things: Funding and Financing, so goodwill work becomes infrastructure-grade. Facilitation, so the people who hold the threads collaborate without losing the integrity of their work. Connection, so a suite of protocols can outcompete big tech. It is not a platform, and not a blockchain.
Protocols, not platforms - open standards no one owns. Functional plurality - many implementations, no winner-picking. Interoperability non-negotiable, architecture is not centralized, federated, or peer-to-peer, as long as you can leave and take your network with you.
It does not build tech or run platforms, hold your data, run a certification regime, or set community moderation policy.
